Australian Government’s PFAS Airports Investigation Program

Jandakot Airport is participating in the Australian Government’s PFAS Airports Investigation Program (the Program).

Environmental Resources Management Australia (ERM) is the expert contaminated land specialist engaged to undertake the Program’s investigation at Jandakot Airport.

What is happening on-airport?

Fieldworks commenced in late 2024 and will continue throughout 2025. These works include the installation and sampling of new and existing groundwater monitoring wells both on and off airport land, alongside a variety of related activities.

Airport tenants can expect to see ERM’s DSI and Mass Flux Study drilling and sampling fieldworks occurring in areas across the airport in the coming months.

ERM will engage with airport tenants impacted by the investigation works ahead of any scheduled activities.
